Summary:
Implement a super-admin–level control system that enforces base pricing, ceiling pricing, and fixed revenue share percentages for all reseller accounts within the CRM. This ensures the parent company always receives its defined revenue cut (e.g., 30%) regardless of how resellers price, bundle, or discount packages.
The feature allows the platform owner to define the financial boundaries and revenue logic for all resellers and sub-resellers.
Each reseller is assigned:
Base Cost (Floor Price) – the minimum they can sell a product for.
Ceiling Price – the maximum they can charge.
Revenue Split Percentage – the fixed percentage of every sale that routes back to the parent company (e.g., 30%, 50%, etc.).
During onboarding or package creation:
The reseller selects from existing MSRP-based packages (e.g., $97, $750, $4,500, $7,000).
The CRM automatically calculates the provider’s revenue share based on the set percentage.
Payments are processed through Stripe Connect using application_fee_amount, ensuring the parent company’s share is automatically routed in real time.
This structure prevents underpricing, secures consistent profit margins, and standardizes all reseller tiers without limiting flexibility for markups or sub-reseller arrangements.
