📞 How Dialing Works With Powerlists & Area Codes
When you load a powerlist into the system, we do two smart things:
We group contacts by area code
The system checks the area code of every contact and groups them (e.g., all 212s together, all 310s together, etc.).
We always dial using a number from the same area code
So if the contact is 212, we’ll show a 212 local presence number when calling them (when available).
⏱ How Many Contacts Are Dialed at a Time
Our dialer can call up to 2 contacts at a time, but it depends on how many contacts exist per area code:
âś… If at least one area code has 2 or more contacts
Then the system will:
Pick that area code.
Dial 2 contacts at a time from that same area code.
Both calls will show as local to the contact.
âś… If every area code has only 1 contact
(Meaning no area code has more than one lead)
Then the system will dial only 1 contact at a time.
This keeps dialing consistent with local presence and avoids jumping area codes in a single batch.
📌 Full Example
3 contacts in 212
5 contacts in 305
1 contact in 646
The system will:
Pick 305 first (highest count).
Dial 2 contacts at a time from 305.
Continue until 305 is done, then move to the next highest area code.
